Looking for that magical wine weekend get away for this Valentine's Day? Look no further, I have listed fantastic ideas for that perfect Valentine weekend experience. One of my favorite wine regions in the country is the Willamette Valley in Oregon. Not only for the picturesque mountain and valley views, but also for producing some of the best Pinot Noirs. When you think of Wine Country most people overlook the Willamette Valley. My suggestion is to stay at one of Oregon's Premier Wine Country Inns, and also a Wine Spectator's favorite location, Youngberg Hill Vineyard and Inn located in McMinnville OR. We stayed at Youngberg Hill last year. It was great and they were wondeful getting us set up with other great places to taste wine. My biggest surprise was how good the wine is at Youngberg Hill. We not only bought a case but signed up for there wine club. I think they farm organically on 20 year old vines. Walking this place was magical and the best views of the valley. The Inn was warm and welcoming with an owner who really loves what she does. Can t wait to go back. We ate at Bistro Maison, LaRambla, and the Joel Planer house which were all great. Dont miss the Evergreen Aviation Meuseum whe you have had enough wine for the day.
